Free to Air or Cable?

OK, so I'm moving next month, and the house has cable, but do I:

Get Virgin Media to activate the cable and get TV etc with them, or
Buy a dish and free to air boxes from Maplin and fit myself subscription free satellite TV??

If I go with cable its going to cost me about £30 a month, and I'll need to work out how to split the signal to three rooms, if I do the satellite and free to air I can get a 4 way LNB and plumb it into all the rooms I want it in...
