Got back about 1/2 hour ago , faster then it took to get there . My Runner did the usual 'I want to break down whilst you want to climb hills' AGAIN.
So spent most of day getting sun burn with alot of others there.

Runner did not miss a beat on way home AGAIN.
Damn thing does not want to Offroad.

Can not work it out . It runs fine until I climb a bit of banking or incline when offroad , but is fine during normal road driving including hills. I think its the carb.

I wont say to much ,but there is the use 2 recovery trucks so far . 1 yesterday and 1 for either Sunday or Monday has been booked to recover a Surf to my place for repairs (not my Runner).

Has Woodzie been near there ?

Rick your fault sounds like fuel starvation has it by any chance got a fuel pump rather than relying on vacum or gravity...

Sorry if im trying to teach you to suck eggs but i know any thought is better than none...

I agree Mark , I am sure I checked fuel pump pressure before when I had this fault . Need to try and check asap.
I think this is the same as Shirlsters Surf fault.

hahahaha.sounds just like it rick.but after the day tony and i had today(as you know).im glad anything was running at the end of it.i dont know if this will help,but i removed the carb on the shirlsters truck and stripped it down completely.put it in a bucket filled with a gallon of petrol and got a pipe cleaner on it left it overnight and then blew every oriffice out with an airgun and put it back together and its cured it.it never missed a beat going to tonys and coming home.

Another brilliant weekend at avalanche little George hasn't stopped talking about the zook yet.I'm compiling a cd/dvd depending on how much video/pics there are if anyone who took pics/vid would like to e-mail it to me(leodisxxx@googlemail.com) I will work out a price per disc All profits to go to the forum.
