DIRT! DIRT!! perish the thought Think i had a doubt'er who thought i'd never get it going, wont mention any names but his initials start with
MARKY!!!! (must admit i had me doubts too, cheers mate)
Well she had a good run round and the usual "can you run me to the shops"cr@p, must say i'm well impressed with me efforts, it's much more responsive, a dam sight quicker off the mark and has settled down to a nice tickover, the cooling fan mods working a treat, they come on three minuits after i parked up a couple of times (ign off) so it shows how the heat builds up after you've switched off, they soon get the temp down tho, the intercooler's picking up heat as i expected it would but i aint got the fan finished so that should improve, (had a dodgy 5 pin relay) there's a smell of bakeing paint but that should wear off, all n all i'm well chuffed
So the mods were-
1. intercooler
2. 2" body lift
3. junk the EGR stuff
4. 2mm washers behind the dump gate
5 extra cooling fan and wireing mod
6 loads of anti friction hammerite
I got to get the tyres put back on the rims, got two ready, if ya remember i reversed the spider so they have deeper dish, just hope they clear the body etc on the front,Too young to die and too old to give a toss

Ian, Marky excuse me for butting in on your little love in.
Top job Ian, I think it looks great, youve got my respect and admiration. I wish I had the skills, the tools, the energy and ethusiasm, I wish I could simply be arsed to do half of what youve done. Youve got yourself a headturner now.
