  • WTF!! Where did the address bar go?!?!

    On IE6, my address bar has gone, and I cant get it back! WHERE did it go?!

    Oh Microsoft, why do you mock me?!?!

        Got it! I had 'lock toolbars' selected, which meant I couldn't drag the address bar back. How the hell I managed to hide it in the first place, god knows!

          Was your pc running out of memory earlier, I have found that if I open/close a number of sites the pc runs down on mem and plays havoc with the toolbars - ruddy $$$$ programming in micro$oft's part

                IE7's horrible!

                Thats why I haven't upgraded from IE6.

                Maybe I'll have one of them new iMacs next time I upgrade... Not that keen on MacOS but it cant be as bloated as Windoze!

                        anyone tried putting win3.1 or OS/2 on a modern high spec pc?
                        I bet it would run FaF.... ok, you would be able to do FA with it, but it would be retro-geek heaven. wouldnt it?

                          I have a copy of Windows (the first one, before 3.1). If anyone wants it, it's yours for the postage cost!
