Originally posted by ChillittI think if it was even remotely towable, they wouldn't have left it there... If i see the farmer, I'll ask him what he has in mind for it..
I guess it could be put onto the back of a flatbed lorry, and secured for travel, coz once its on site, it won't be going anywhere else.Rob

My plan is to buy a derilict house in France, and do it up over an indeterminate length of time, so I'll need a van on site to live in while the work is progressing (or not) so I'll only need to get it to the location, and make it habitable, hopefully it's pretty much habitable already, just needs the axle fixing.Rob

Been out and had another look, the wheel is off cos its been run with the nuts loose, and the studs have pulled through the wheel! (and its running LR wheels too, which seems odd...) The council are going to take it away if its not shifted in 7 days, so if any one fancies it and has a spare landy wheel....it's in me shed, mate.

The french might kick you out bob! thinking your a pikey
The thought did cross my mond, but I guess I could spray the chrome bits white, and as long as I,m not pulling it with a merc van I should be OK, but the french police are not fond of people who look like pikeys.Rob
