Walking up to my Surf last night I spotted this pool of golden coloured fluid just behind my front drivers side wheel… had that sickening feeling of “what’s happened now?”….
There was a small droplet of this fluid on the bottom edge of the mudflap so I collected it on my fingertip…. Hmmm, certainly not oil and the wrong consistency for brake fluid… sniff, no not petrol either and can’t be coolant.
Opens bonnet and checks around… everything in order….
Gets in and drives off campus and then realise what it must be!!!!
Arrive home, checks again, no leaks and everything is fine
