  • Meteors, Space Shuttle & ISS

I started looking for metors Friday night after our BBQ. We saw a few but then we saw the International Space Station (ISS) docked onto the Space Shuttle Endeavor tracking in from the West. Amazing! The brightest satelight I have ever seen- not surprising really as it was two huge objects side by side and they reflect a lot of light!

To get an ISS/Space Shuttle prediction for your location look here:

Heavens Above generated this image of the ground track of the ISS/Space Shuttle pairing as we saw it on Friday night.

Don't wait too long to look though as Endeavour is now scheduled to undock from the International Space Station on Aug. 20 and land Aug. 22.

    No wonder it's bright!

Me and my son watched the ISS followed 2 minutes later by the Shuttle late on last week (a few hours befor docking)
