hydraulic clutch's operated via a slave cylinder?

The problem is that the clutch bite is realy high.
This is on a ford fiesta.
My first thoughts are that the clutch is ready for changing, but i was thinking is there a way to adjust the clutch pedal to drop the bite lower? seeing as there is no cable?

Unless there is an adjuster at tyhe clutch arm, it is likely worn. Although alot of cars are set quite high up anyway

No adjustment on any Fiesta clutch whether hydraulic or cable. Only fault with the cable one is carpet underfelt gets jammed into self adjuster in pedal.
Slave cylinder on hydraulic one is also the release bearing and has to be changed when doing a clutch .
