no mate, still folds up a treat into the arch, and didn't catch on the fuel tank either. worked like a dream. definatly recomend that setup, the articulation on my old surf was just incredible.

No problem at all bibs! Just remember when removing the shocks there will be wires attached to them! So dont yank them

no, they wont work anymore. adjutable shocks are a bit spendy mate. es3000's for a ride between soft and hard, and es9000's for a firmer ride.

driven both, and i had 3000's on mine, but the 9000's felt better on the road to be honest

tbh I only ever use it when loaded up or in a hurry down the lanes so as not to get too much body roll.Won't really miss it that much

              I paid £155 del. For 4 +4" ES9000's from Explorer Uk. .

Bibs, You can use standard shocks with a 2" lift, Obviously limits travel, But as Apache said springs are not expensive.

chuck on a 2" body lift and your well away towards 33's and how surfs SHOULD look!
Thats for a pair mate, you need two for the rear

Bibs, the different answers are just slightly different flavours of the same thing - except for Rod who thinks I'd pay £75 per shock! You could actually visit Explorer easily from where you are (down near Lymm if I recall correctly, not far from the M6) and that way you've got a fighting chance of getting the right bits and a small discount. I paid something like £30 each for my shocks.

No you cant use the hard / soft settings any more, but you wont miss it.

IMO if you're going to be offroading, use ES3000s, or if not use the 9000s.

                So thats about it really.

                    I wasn't suggesting you would pay £75 a shock

I was guessing that bibs would replace all 4 as the whole truck is being lifted, so i was thinking you said you paid £75 for 4 shocks! I was wondering where you got the bargain!

Dont know why, but the original toyota front ones dont top out like the back ones do. Still on the standard fronts, but when I get my BJ spacers, I'll probably replace them
