I can see the day coming when us " tractor" drivers are outnumbered by those mobile "hairdressers" and we will be the victims of all the derision, oh-- and has anyone else noticed that Marky uses every opportunity available to post up a pic of his "salon". What do you think hes trying to do, ?? Slowly but surely break us down to the point where we all want one??

As for Supra engines, yes they can yield lots of power I know a chap with 1200hp at the fly, but the big power ones tend to have narrow power bands and very sudden power delivery, not ideal for off road, I think the progressive grunt of a supercharged 1UZ-FE (Lex V8) is much more like it
There are about 8 different types of supra engine depending on year, the one you guys are probably referring too is the 3.0 TT out of the later bug eyed jelly mould shape, this is the cheapest and most effective engine to tune, mine is a rare 2.0 TT high revving, hard to tune, but worth it as its so different (in my eyes) mine will be at about 300-350 at the wheels once its mapped, which won't set the world on fire, but will be fun, especially with the roof off
I rebuilt the engine from scratch (kinda hard as there are no service manuals in English, and parts are uber scarce so I had no engineering tolerances to work to) It was apart for literally years, but working now, and proved reliable around the Nurburgring this summer
Nice Gen 3 Marky...
I also love the stance of this gen 2,
Not sure what kind of lift that would be?
I was intending to sign up, sit back and lurk, taking in posts and keep quiet until I knew what I was talking about....
no need to apologise.i run a 350 bhp tvr v8 engine in stein.its no slouch believe me.its good to have a knowledge pool of all sorts of mods, body, engine suspension.etc.
