Well i dont think Toyota UK are planning on making a UK release,
However if you got the cash its not to import one, Insured shipping is about £700 from New York to Southampton, The truck itself must be able to be had for £10,000... Then you'll have an SVA test which isnt mega money but its a laborious sh!tty job because some USA cars have indicators mixed with sidelights and brakelights, which is illegal in the UK!
Its not impossible for you to own one mate! Just expensive at the moment!
In a few years they will be worth jack... import one then and your laughing
Or just go to a import company...tell them you want a black FJ and pay a premium but it will be EXACTLY what you want and no hassle of paperwork and hidden charges.

Can't afford to import one, couldn't afford to run one at 17 or 18MPG, just have to keep dreaming unless they start to make a diesel one, then in a few years, maybe. They are only available in USA I believe with a massive V6, oh well Ill stick with the Surf.

dont anyone, ever, buy a daewoo, ssang yong or their other name they go by and i dont mean chevy. its these sort of cars that really annoy me, some of the manual ones you cannot do a hill start in revers in, because the gear lever will not engage reverse with the handbrake up because they clash. the handbrake prevents reverse gear completely. (and various other reasons
)
oh and thats not a jeep, no matter how much its made to look like one. a jeep is a part of chrysler corp. when people say, oh you have a jeep?! i say NO! then i slap them.

Some nice links there, Hey Bushwacker that Lego one is a Land Rover, I dont want one of those: shocked3: Actually I have had a couple of Range Rovers, got fed up of putting petrol in the first one, 2nd one I had converted to LPG, had it for 5 yrs, really liked it, but it was falling to bits aroung me, happy with my Surf at the moment
