It is a bit hard to see in the picture but you may be able to make out the remains of a mangled up Toyota 4-Runner on the right in the shadows. It rolled off Lion's Back sometime in April. You can't imagine the feeling of driving up that thing with that Toyota sitting in there... knowing that one stupid move and you could end up right there (or worse, roll from the other side!)

Sure I've seen this on one of those Bravo disaster/accident progs. A couple tried to go up it , lost all power and came down backwards, sliding off about 2/3 down. Mangled car..... Think it was US.

This was shown on one of the went wrong programs where a young couple went up it the lass behind the wheel was scared of heights. On the return to the ground the brakes failed at the top and they spent most of the decent airbourne and landed on the roof.

The couple were hospitilised and survived...a hairy bit of film.

Yep it was a Ford Bronco I think that went down and rolled.

The 4Runner was in a pretty dismantled state the last picture I saw of it. The guy was lucky to get out I think.

Follow-up

There was an item on telly recently about the couple who pranged the Bronco, and they went back and conquered the hill that almost killed them. I dunno if they were really brave for trying again, or if it confirmed that they need psychiatric help! Thats a scary-mother of a hill.
