  • Fitted exhaust

Fitted my non standard (botched) exhaust today. Never cost me a penny

The old back box was rotten and so was some of the pipe leading to the large box in mid section. So now,no rear box. Sure someone said it was ok to do this Made a wee bracket thingy since it now runs right down the centre.

But does antone know where that exhaust section came from???

Don't think Antone is a member of this site, but if I see him I'll ask.

                Alrighty Scotty.

Sound the same, perhaps hear the turbo through it more, perhaps thats just my imagination. Need to get the mrs to drive it past me to see how it sounds.

It sits a wee bit back from bumper but down a wee bit as well. I can raise it by takin the rubber bit out for off roading if needed. I'll test it out at Clog

Can any one really answer . Do you really need that big back box.!
What is it for ?. I presume it was designed for a reason.
I am going to have to replace mine again this weekend. 3rd in 4 years. Have done 95000, kms in it. Is there an alternative? Tried contacting. Powerflow
etc but didn't get a satisfactory answer. Is it really worth psying the extra to get one from roughtrax. ?.Not sure about forking out for it to rust away in a few years......................

                      No!

I haven't got one, I haven't even got the original middle silencer, just a small one and the exhaust exits out to the side just in front of the rear wheel.

It's not really any louder than stock, except I can hear the turbo whistling away all the time, and it passed the MOT no problem.

Mines going rotten too I keep toying withthe idea of sticking on a cherry bomb, just coz i have never heard one on a diesel or an auto. Might be worth a laugh.
