  • calling all those with l/c coils fitted

    has anyone had a problem with the top coil on each side sliding past the top rubber pad.about 3/4 of the top of the coil is now resting on the chassis.only noticed this today as i was underneath.

    Yep same here but mine has been like it for at least 3-4 months.I think idealy that we could do with some sort of plate for the top of the spring to sit on properly

      Haven't had it come off the pad, but the top coil is a slightly larger diameter than the original. How about knocking up some adapter / spacer type devices?

      AFTER my bash plate of course...

                        Yup, mine don't sit squarely on the rubbers. I'd be interested in any solution that you might come up with.

                        On a side note, would the spring not sitting on the rubber properly have any disadvantageous (mmm, that dictionary was tasty ) side effects?
