Another Genuine Toyota parts shocker

After the batteries at £53+ vat each I found today that genuine Toyota wiper blades for my LC were £9.04 inc Vat for a pair and one had a spoiler on it

Halfords wanted £17.99 for a pair of Bosh wipers.

Maybe we could have a list of good value genuine parts?

Oh when I was there, I asked about the cost of replacing the cam belt (1KE- TE engine) £137 Inc vat with parts, which again I thought was not excessive.

if you need a rear window regulator go to toyota.

i phoned millners when mine went and they never had any, the guy told me that they buy them direct from toyota as there is no patter part.

so in the end i got it cheeper and quicker from the steelership.

Big rubber hose from the air filter to ra turbo = £38 TRADE but I gotta say Toyota parts aint that expensive compaired to some IE silly wee speedo drive/pickup for a Ford Ka = £62 +VA.. Shields Toyota parts guys are ace and aint never sent a wrong part (although they stoopidly tried to mug me with the heater control).
