As i know Tom who organises show, if anyone thinks that its a good idea to have a class for best import 4x4 then let me know and i will put it to him. Its about time Hilux's etc had more prominance at shows, especially as there ten times better than landy's and RR. Email me on fuelcat@btconnect.com if you want to show your car.
I myself will have a stand there, so of course happy to see any other Surf owners.

Philip, the email link is fubarred on here, you need to type your addy with spaces to fool the forum.

The show is a 4x4 weekend event, previously held in Staffs by M50. Good show and good atmosphere. I am sure Tom would allow a special class for imports and also someone could give a talk about the advantages over Range Rovers etc. Its about time more prominance was given to Surfs etc.
This is the first Toyota i have owned, but previously have had two older Range Rovers. You can't compare them. Surf is 100 times better. My last car was XJ40 1988 which i had and loved for 4 years and yhought i would miss it. NO WAY I get up in the morning and actually look forward to getting in Surf and driving to work.
NO COMMENTS please about getting help for this problem, please

Email is fine but there is a "feature" on the forum whereby if you type your email addy without spaces it gets changes to an "email" link. However this link doesn't work for most people and thus they cannot email you. So type the email addy with spaces in and then people know what it is and can email you...

The show is on the Saturday and Sunday I am proposing the BBQ for the Saturday so we can all have a drink and unwind..

How about a mass invasion into the event on Sunday its up to you guys or even on Saturday and maybe a trip to Devils pit on Sunday or find some lanes to attack.....
