Hi guys,
Well I've owned my awsome surf for a couple of weeks and had my first major Surf Smile moment on the Friday just gone...
I was driving fromTorquay where I live now back to Hartlebury in Worcester where I grew up to visit the parentals. The M5 had been a nightmare due to wheelie bin cows and log delays. I got onto the a449 for the last stretch (for those of you who haven't nearly died on this road it'sa duel carriageway) and there was a huge queu of traffic in the left lane, not a single car in the right hand lane. I thought there must be an accident so took my place in the queue and crept up the hill....
What do I see when I reach the peak? a queue of cars stretching into the distance all queuing for the shallow end of a huge flood accross the road
You can see where this is going. I'm not exagerating when I say I belted it past around 100 cars with a huge smile on my face. On reaching the flood I held my breath and pointed straight at the deep end. With water being sprayed up to roof height on either side of the car I'm slightly ashamed to admit I cackled a bit It was awsome and the look on those poor mortals faces was priceless. Vavavoom I love my surf, it knocked a good hour off my journey.
Anyone else care to share some Surf Smile memories?
PS anyone own a black 2nd Gen that frequents the A380?
See ya guys
Chris
