Right, here goes, Just had both bearings replaced on the rear of the truck. Before they were done, when i pulled away there was a crunch noise coming from the rear axle. When i got the truck back all was fine until this morning when low and behold the crunch is back. My question is this, If it were the bearings that were making the crunching noise as i suspected, why would it be doing it again and so soon after replacing them. The old bearings were completely shot an had shattered into many pieces. so what is this $$$$$$ noise??????

Not greased u/js and diff oil was changed when the second bearing was done as half of it ended up on the floor. Also took it back to mechanic this morning and diff oil leeking from drum again so outer seal is kaput. Roughtrax are sending me a replacement (free) bearing kit. Can't fault roughtrax eh!!!Originally posted by BUSHWHACKERHave you checked/greased the propshaft U/Js?
