A14 this morning on the way to sell a horse box,
great BANG and (some) smoke,
drift straight onto a petrol forecourt out of traffic,
engine ticks over fine,
no great puddle of either Engine/Gearbox oil (good-ish)
but no reverse gear, and not a lot of anything else,
well, a tiny bit in 1st but that vanished soon after.
Heady burning smell of clutch plate, and yes I'm sure it has slipped just a bit over recent weeks thinking about it,
so I suppose trailer work has finished it off.
bugger, still at least I have the keys, so not all bad then
