Iv'e had my Surf for just over three years, with no major problems. Now I am due to drive down to Devon with the family in three weeks, the head gasget has gone!!!!!!!!!!
So the head is probbably cracked!!!!!!

Now I need about £700. quid just for parts alone!!!!!

There gose my holiday I have just paid out £530. for.

Bad luck mate

Been there got the Tshirt, Once you get it fixed you can forget it until the bottom end goes.

Sorry............... but I'm an really sympathetic honest, thats exactly what happened to me head then bottom end.

The bottom end was because I let her smoke too long before fixing the problem excess fuel washed my pistons down.
