help needed

I got these for £90 a corner fitted and balanced, but cheaper tyres are available. They are awsome off road. size is 31x10.5x15

do you know if they will fit my existing rims

They'll fit the rims, but won't go under those arches untill you get the ride height back to factory. 31" is the biggest tyre that will go on a standard 2nd gen without any rubbing on bodywork and stuff.

What size are the current tyres? They look wide as hell!

from what i know... Wide narrow profile tyres=££££!!!!

The shocks are £35 a corner +£6 for a boot, several colours available. a set of 4 shocks + boots + del. Is going to come out at about £160!

once you have them order some standard rear springs from www.toyotahilux.com

or the 20% stronger ones as mentioned before. With all that fitted the torsion bars will need to tweaked to level out the surf, once all thats done your back to standard height!

Again as mentioned before make sure your 100% sure about not wanting to do any form of lift just yet, it would be a shame and a waste to buy a set of new shocks if a month or so down the line you want +2" shocks!

If i were you this weekend get out with a socket set and get the aftermarket bumpers/sills etc off! DONT trash them!! flog em on ebay! someone will want them! might help get your budget up to lift standards!!

at least make it look like a decent surf that has just shrunk in the wash!

Mines got the +20% springs from milners, and a set of ES9000 shocks but I find them a wee bit firm and with hind sight would have gone for the ES3000's for a smoother ride, apart from that the ride height is standard.

yes jon thats me , call round any time an have a chat, i have the milners 20% rear springs an there spot on. the best mechanic in heywood is at the back of our house pub, bradsons, he looks after about 6 surfs, his even got a spare 3ltr engine. you wont go wrong on here mate, av had loads of help of the lads, the no more than toyota.
