I did say I'd post something nearer the time...
http://www.peebee.plus.com/beerfest/...index2007.html
It runs 16th - 18th of August, but I know from past experience that by Saturday, a lot of the beers have gone. Therefore I would suggest Thursday evening session (from 6:30pm if I recall), or a Friday session.
I did say I'd try to organise something for forum members if there was a few takers, so what I am hoping to do is :-
a) Find a local campsite. The one I have in mind is at the back of a rural pub which does great food.
b) Organise a half day laning locally for probably the friday morning with minibus transport to the festival in the evening courtesy of my neighbour who's bus seats abut 14 and he'd do it cheaply for us.
c) On the Saturday, as hangovers allow, another half days worth of laning followed by a barbecue at either one of the local commons with the Malverns in the background, or back at the site if allowed, and people can wander off home on the Sunday morning.
What do you think? Any takers? Only point I would make is that the festival is probably not suitable for young children, so you'd either have to have an understanding other half who would entertain them at the campsite, or get a babysitter at home.
Can I have interested parties add themselves to a list here please? Only if you have a good chance of making it because it has a bearing on the transport from the site to festival and back.
