I think hole and fit the intake, then the cooler, not sure you'll get much benefit from the cooler without the air intake...????

I'm getting a piece of steel from B&Q, spraying it with heat resistant paint (aluminium look) and bending it all so the cooler will sit on it and putting some vents in it so it deflects the heat from the block, and gives it a good mounting.

But it might pay to fit the intercooler 1st, that way you know exactly where to fit the intake. Lets face it, if you fit the intake then it dont line up with the intercooler when thats in, your gonna be bummed out.

Done a similar thing, bolted a peice of polished S/S under it,
I'd fit the cooler first Tim, made a ricket on the first bolt up, i didnt center it so that the scoop will be in the center, where did you get it Tim? demontweeks? been looking at the saburu scoop, bloke emailed me the diamentions and it cover the hole i already made, not bad money either

It was, here's the link to the seller: http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZfishlady2005QQhtZ-1 .

They also had a smaller style one but it didn't match my intercooler size.

All I need is fir them now.

seem like good deals you got - its a trooper scoop from ebay, i paid £40 but I couldnt find any anywhere else, no breakers had them. looks good though

I think I will fit the cooler first and try and get it central although the scoop is quite wide so I dont need to be too accurate. I think I need to move me fuelcat too.
