i scored one for the surfers yesterday when an bmw x5 tried to muslcle me out at a turning, needles to say mine is definetley not a shiney, and they lost a wing mirror courtesy of said bars!!!!!

neededa minute to day in a car park waiting for grandad to reverse his car out of space so i could get in there when a very impolite eastern european (i could tell by the plate!) vdecided to honk and get annoyed, he has a nice dent/scratch on his bmw trying to squeeze past me..... really enjoyed the sound of the crunching, he didnt!!!! i think he said have a nice day to me in polish

i am not normally evil only some people like to drive like nonces....

and we are supposed to be the bad guys/gals in 4x4?!?!?!?!!?

I wonder if there is a pattern to these types of folk.

If they all have the same livestyle, same types of homes, same line of work of if extreme arrogance, aggression, and out of control hysteria with a zero tolerance attitude to everything but ones self can aflict anyone at anytime.

Do you think it's contageous.

Ignorance, impatience and downright rudeness have neither reason nor excuse. They are obnoxious prats who have their heads up their arses, and should be shown as much civility as they themselves possess. I was brought up to always be polite and courteous, and would have had a clip around the ear had I been otherwise, but these days I see no reason to let those types keep getting away with murder. No matter how hard I find it to be discourteous, for those types, I nowadays force myself to make an exception.

I was driving my mother to visit father in hospital, got onto a new roundabout when I realised I was in the wrong lane "no ones perfect".

I indicated when I realised and checked no one was close so I moved over no one had to change speed or direction.

I checked my nearside mirror on exiting the roundabout and noticed a small a small family car coming onto the roundabout from a slip road onto the roundabout It shot up my inside there was no need for them to be there they forced me onto the opposing oncoming lane I wasn't going to push them off the road they had kids in the car.

Not being in a position to accelerate quickly I gave way to avoid a collision.

Both the female driver and male passanger were giving it loads of abuse their fingers gesticulating. w signs, one and 2 finger salutes.

Then they took the outside lane slowed down screaming abuse with their small children in the rear, they rolled down the windows spat on my surf and kept along side hurling loud abusive chants and gesticulating making no attempt to pull away, I kept my cool and carried on in the nearside lane with these enraged lunatics riding beside hurtling their abuse.

Why do folk get so het up I felt sorry for the wee kids what chance do they have with parents like that.

I was never close to them and never caused them to change course or direction. Yes I found myself in the wrong lane but what a carry on.

Is this what modern living is turning people into or were they just mentally deranged one offs.

I find the best way to show them who hasnt lost the plot is to blow them a kiss whether you are in the wrong or not. Its funny watching there reactions too...I do it in the works vehicle which is very clearly sign written in the company livery. So if they want to ring the company complaining about my driving they have to bow down to the laughter that they will get from the office about my reactions, it prooves who is higher and mighty

Yes I thinks sometimes by doing nothing it makes their blood pressure get even higher they want a reaction so that they can phone the police and report you with some spurious allegation.

It isn't worth the hastle.

I like Kiplings Idea

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, or being lied about don't deal in lies, or being hated don't give way to hating.

Sounds right to me anyway.

i have to say,i would of propably lost it.i would of overtaken them and slowed right down in front and given them a taste of their own medicine.ive normaly got a lot of patience but with idiots like that they deserve to be run off the road.just a pity they had kids in the car.its funny though i havnt come across any idiots like that when i drive stein,but when im in the escort theres loads of them around.maybe they dont like the thought of having a big green fender through their back window.who knows i admire you for not letting them get to you.well done that man.

TBH John its an endemic of modern life,

interestingly outside their vehicle,
they almost never display this level of inadequacy,
look around Tesco's aisles for sign of trolley rage on the same scale,
it gets pretty short shrift
(and carefully aimed ankle shot)
sets things straight
