your roof has got a bar full of lights right? like i see on the landrovers. that looks very nice.
were they hard to fit? i bet they help at night
Easy to fit, but long winded. Just needs one small hole in the roof, and a bit off wiring faffing about.
Awesome in the dark combined with the two 130w spots on the front. Instant daylight!
And yes, the gap is cos I didn't get the bumper brackets, that Vince was going to send to me
you!!
i like the height of yours.
whats easiest? fitting the body lift or spring lift?
if you look at mine on the ebay, you can see my front is slightly lower than the back. javars said he changed the shocks and springs on mine not long ago (and they are coloured blue springs and white aftermarket shocks)
but front still has the standard shocks and tortion bars. the bars need winding back up or replacing, and the shocks do need doing - its a bit soft/limp over bumps on the 'normal' setting.
after seeing the pictures of your trucks and what they were going through, i think its a good idea i lift mine a bit at least.

It's MUD Surfer, not MAD Surfer, unless of course you know something I don't......
Ask SurfenVatch Finklestein, The Lovely Boyo and Woodzie how much work it was to do it, I was cutting the grille to bits to make a sexy new one with mesh......

oh yer! mud not mad.. sorry im tired..
i will check back tomorrow, and do some more searching.
cheers for the advice you lot have given
AND you even wrote it in RED! and extra large words... doh!
I would make sure your 100% about wanting to lift it because even 2" makes the handling shockingly worse! I was suprised by how much slower i have to take corners now.
say if i went for the 2" sping lift and the 2" body lift (or 1.5" whatever is neater and easily availably) would i have to replace the tortion bars to go the 2" or can my ones be wound up 2"??
i dont get how if i take it to someone to do, they can get 2" done
ooh err
well i just called my local 4x4 place - the only place ive seen that does 4x4s and they told me they only do landrovers!
who can i get to wind up the tortion bars and fit new shocks?
