  • Chassis vs engine size

    Hi all,

Is there a quick 'n' easy way to find out the correct engine size from the chassis number from Toyota - not LN130 or KZN130 - which I think may have been mixed up - even if the car is still in Japan..... so would be either

    LN130-703xxxx or

    KZN130-703xxxx

I have just read that & it sounds confusing.... hopefully not - rear decal doesn't match the chassis no.

    Thanks
    Hoops

I spose you know that if its a pre-'93 its always 2.4, then from '93 to '95 could be 2.4 or 3.0 and if its '96 on its 3.0

        Thanks Rich,

Presumably that does that mean that you can have a 3.0 engine on a LN130 frame. Has it happened before? Its a '93 and I'm waiting for the agent to get back to me.

Either that or some one added the 3.0 but why?
