i pick up my surf tommorrow after 7 years of driving my Transit.. hope it's as reliable as my old trusty.(130k miles not single problem apart from wear and tear) anyway thanks to this website and forum i managed to find some insurance company's willing to insure my vehicle. here's some insurance prices for anyone intrested based on 0 no claims bonus.
privilege- £573 £350 excess 2years no claim given
adrian flux- £500 £200 excess
a plan - £712
footman james £1043.
i could have try'd more but adrian flux seemed the best price considering my 6 years no claims is stuck on my transit.

Seems to me insurance is a lottery tried adrian flux wanted £900 yes £900 ?? A plan wanted £590 Tesco £613 now although I have full no claims "bonus" I do have 6 points! in desperation I applied for a quote via confused .com, got ONE quote from peoples choice ie Chaucer for £496 guess which one I took up?
