I tentatively took to the sand 3 weeks ago, soft dry white stuff near Girvan. I kept it in low ratio and let her crawl through. It went down to the door steps on the nearside for a bit but kept going so everything was OK. I also had a half ton of stone in the back.

Don't fancy my chances if I'd given it the gun me thinks disaster would have prevailed as she would have toppled over.

      Cheers JB

        Interesting comments all round..

Did you lower your tyre pressure for the sand... say down to 8 or 10 PSI....?

          Hi Mate

I didn't lower my tyre pressures I had a ton of stone to take out in the back and no way of blowing them up for the main road so left them as normal.

A local farmer gave me access to his foreshore to get some stone for my mothers garden.

          Cheers JB
