  • New battery

Found out this morning that mine is dead as a dodo. I can get it started but it wont last as the battery is at the end of its days.

As it's a heavy duty battery (014 type) not sure how common they are.
Anyone know of a good cheap place to go?

Theres a car spares shop next to safeways at Basingstoke... got mine there - should have been £67 and I got them for about £45 cash and a sweet smile... They stock both the normal one and the reverse terminal one for the surf...

It's a battery with the terminals the opposite way round to normal...

Mines got two batteries - one has the +ve on the right and the -ve on the left, the other has the -ve on the left and the + on the right...

              Easy way to check
              1: Take your battery out
2: Have a look at the termials to see if you have +ve on left or right
3: Walk round other side of battery and see if you have terminals in same place on other side
4: If so u have reverse terminal batterys!!!

Disclaimer - Thats a joke by the way ;-)
