In 27 years on the roads I’ve never caused an accident….. I have however had a few people run into the back of me…. Why should I be a SOFT target for others to run into?Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

i prefer seeing them with the bull bars- it makes them look a bit more beefy.
they look even better with the spot lights on. the ammount of times ive needed them and not had them!
what gen is your surf? up for a swap of bull bars? mine needs brackets to go from the bars to the chassis for some reason they are missing. ive posted before and a few people seemed to know what i needed

I`ve seen a few bars cause more damage in an accident. For example top of the bar folding against the bonnet and grill. Bumpers are cheap. Having a bonnet sprayed & fitted is not.(\__/)

[QUOTE=andrewlee31]got to be the full bar, provides a lot of protection, and im selfish, I want to be ok in an accident.
Thing is ..... they may have the opposite effect. Front crumple zone would soak up some of the energy in a crash, the bull bars wont do this.
