I have some of the software to generate the codes here, but it hasn't been too reliable. Your best bet is to go somewhere that uses 'unlocking clips' or data cables and a PC, software unlocking is not too good with newer phones. When i say newer i mean anything in the last 3 years or so.

Having said that if you want more information about the code generators or wanna give them a try let me know.

If it's a Nokia, do a google search. There's a site there that gives you all the info to unlock without spending a penny!!

I unlocked my works phone, so I can put my own sim in it!

Network '3' phones are notoriously difficult to unlock for some reason. Always try to get an O2 phone they accept most SIM cards except '3'!

I have used crux unlocker available here (http://www.mobileunlock.co.uk/module...download&cid=2) along with a few others, but found it not too reliable mind you the last version i used was 2.2 and it's now on v5.0

What model is it? I used to work for O2 for years so I may be able to help you. If its one of the new N series then you cant unlock it unless you get the code from the network carrier its attatched to. If its one the of the pre N series modes then I can give you the master code for it so you can reset what you like... (in most cases). When you know the model PM me the serial number. To find this type *#06# and the phone will show the number.

O2 phones as someone has quoted are not locked anymore, although they wont take 3 sims as 3 uses the O2 voice network blah blah.

Bushwacker. You may have to speak to 3 for their unlocking code as there is no software that I know of that will unlock NEC's.. there used to be but not so sure now.
