  • No surfs in Japan...

Honestly I see more surfs in Basingstoke than Tokyo!

This is my third day here and I've seen not a single one!!! I did see 1 Prado, and a flipping range rover, but still no surf...

Seriously though - this is a fascinating country. Its so ordered and clean and tidy. The toilets are amazing!!! totally electronic! The food is out of this world, the people unfailingly polite and helpful, and very hardworking. Every tree is a work of art.

I just want to see one ickle surf before I go home... please???

Bl00dy hot there though! Mind you it's the wrong time of year for superhot temperatures though isn't it?

Ten more years and Japan will be China, and so will we.

Yeah, but then China will be India, so we'll be Indichinese, as long as we haven't become Polish by then...

...that's because they are all in East Africa! Nearly every Japanese car here is a 2nd hand Jap import. Only NGOs and Gov buy from the dealers - the povo import if they can.

He's not coming here - I'm flying to Hong Kong tomorrow and he'll join me there.

I'm in the central area - by the imperial palace and Tokyo central station. Imperial hotel.

Tomorrow is the final chance for a surf.... I really want to see one.

If you could advise of a reliable Japanese agent /exporter that has good used vehicles it would be appreciated. I am in need of a LHD vehicle for Ethiopia.

                            Thanks

                              Hi ubdai

Never had to deal with any direct importers so can't advise, however if you need a vehicle in Ethiopia can you source through Kenya? Lots of importers there but I also have no experience or recomendations.

What about buying elsewhere in Africa? Take a look at some of the vehicles on this website:

                              Go well,
