Ive just got my new exhaust from milners the last 2 sections and it came to £150 including p&p. Im happy now as there was only about 4" of the seam left on my back part and the box had a patch which someone had used a pigeon to attach the patch.
Order goods one day recive them the next. exellent service.

although i bet there is nothing better than a freshly cleaned surf heading for a green lane sesh.
anyway, i was in halford buying the £12.99 car wax, and the £8.99 T-Cut restorative polish for dark red cars (then i spent roughly 5 hours applying it - twice)
i picked up some diesel reddex and thought i would just take a look.
i put in how much it said, and what a difference! now my car doesnt struggle just before it hits overdrive. before it used to get to 3000rpm and sort of sit there. still accellerating but the rev counter wernt moving too much. now it goes all the way to 4000 then changes and does the same.
ive just got the STP treatment in case there is water in the derv - there is a may be about it, sometimes i fill up from a 25ltr drum through a funnel when its raining.
apparently micro organisms can feed off the diesel if there is water in the tank! then this messes up your engine, anyone know about that????

Don't worry about all these dirty dudes mate. keep it clean, glad to welcome you aboard the shiney club!!

Get the 8 treatment bottle of Redex and nuke it by putting the whole lot in, don't faf about putting what they say in. Trust me, when I took my head off to change it the engine was like new inside, hardly any carbon at all. Mind you I do add it pretty often..

i did think about it, but i was told if i put too much in then it will smoke like a james bond smoker. but if your speaking from experience then next full tank (which might be this weekend) ill do the lot. i didnt quite screw the lid back on propperly so i tiny bit seeped out. its stinking out the cuboard.
im surprised at the difference. its strangely made the auto changing gear a lot better.
my truck used to change up, then back down then back up if i was half throttle. it dont anymore.
              Oh Nana, what's my name?

That smoke is the carbon burning off. if you chuck an 8 treatment bottle in and rag the ti*s off it until you need to fill up again you will notice that towards the end it will hardly smoke at all. When I picked mine up it came straight off the ship, still with Jap diesel. I went to the nearest fuel station and chucked some expensive Slick50 fuel treatment in and filled up. You should have seen the smoke when I gave it some back home.

Now it doesn't smoke at all. Mind you, it has got a new head on and I cleaned the block and pistons to remove all carbon.

I've not tried that one yet, but I remember doing my series three, tipping it down the throat of the throttle body. Jesus, talk about smoke.

i normally tip a bottle into the filter when i do the change just to give the system a good clean thru

when i first got my truck the boost pipe blew off, and i noticed it was coated in oil inside the pipes and intercooler,
so i got some carb cleaner, and took the bits off and sprayed them through -asked my uncle if it was alright to spray inside the induction pipes whilst the engine was running. he laughed.
so after i did think about what i had just said i made sure i washed everything out with water, and i left it in the sun for a bit to dry.
put it all back together and started it. BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and i quickly switched off.
carb cleaner did make the diesel pre-ignite. it sounded like someone hitting the bonnet with a hammer really fast.
next full tank, i will wack the rest of the reddex in. i wont mix it with stp though.
my fuel econmy has shot up
