Need a mechanic in Salisbury!!!! (Tidworth)

Hi Fellas,

Been having a little problem with the surf. It started making loud alternate vibrations from the underside. On the way in to work this morning the vibrations turned into to an occasional clunk and now to what sounds like rubbing noise. I have looked underneath and there is nothing visable to the untrained eye but i cant drive it too far as it doesnt sound healthy.

I know there are tons of surfers around here so someone must be able to reccomend a good garage. Im here all week so can leave it with them.

If you can't get it to Tony's place here is the next best thing. A place called Hillside Garage, the bloke did some great work on my head years ago before I found that Tony lived so close!

Just head towards the A303 and you'll find it on the left hand side of the road. But I would ring him 1st as he is very popular.
The other solution is I pop over and have a quick look (I live in Amesbury), but I make no promises on being able to tell you want the problem is

i only live up the road also

took mine into salisbury today to get a new t/c seal done... the garage is a bit busy at the minute, i could come and have a look also if you want. in durrington/larkhill area

Take the prop off , select 4wd and then take it to Tony to change the uj or drive it home to your garage . No damage will happen as no rear prop to wind up transmission .
