Would anybody be interested in a photo of the week/month competition, to run for the spring/summer months while everybody is out and about??

It could have different catergories, is surfs, landscapes, pets etc and a poll to vote the winner.

What do you all think????

Great idea- I suggest the following ground rules:

1) Make it monthly- all photos have to have been taken in that month or the previous month (no archive stuff).
2) Only one entry per person per category each month (so we don't get inundated with material)

Can I suggest the following categories:

1) Surfs
2) Landscapes (includes sunsets!)
3) Pets
4) Anything else

?Would it be worth banning the uploading of attachments and the picture having to be hosted by one of the many freebies to save forum Space.

If everybody logged on to, say Picaasa2 then we could all just post a link to our pics, or they would have to be resized to fit forum, btw, what is max image sized allowed to upload onto forum??

Holy sh1t 1.5GB ? how big is the memory card on your camera and howmany pics can you take....I thought you had put 1.5mb not gig..
