A decent steak needs a decent red - Chateauneuf du Pape - 1999 Clos de l'Oratoire des Papes should fit the bill !

I've got Chateauneuf du Pape 1995 Cuvee Julienne or Chateauneuf du Pape 2003 Domaine Pere-Papite...

As long as it tastes OK and comes in a decent sized box, you want to keep away from that poncey bottled stuff

I'd go for the 95 and leave the 2003 for a bit longer (If you can !)

I've not got much in at the moment - two 2001 Guigal, one 2003 Ancien Domaine des Pontifes and two 2005 Promenade des Papes (they'll be waiting a fair while I hope)
