underneath, i'll get some proper ones when i can lay down in the pit but its wet at the mo, spent all the holliday painting, started putting stuff back on the back inc the tow bar, need some more ammerite red, i'm spraying the front bit, gear box etc, too sodding fiddley for brush, am i right in thinking hammerite thinners is acetone, it smells like it and has that ice cold feel like acetone, if so it may be cheaper than the hammerite stuff ( £7 odd for a small can, ripper) fitted new hose clipe to the filler tubes, bit of a stretch but they went on, lot easier with the lift working in there,

Ian, I use normal cellulose thinners for Hammerite, £7 for a gallon from motor factors of car paint suppliers.

It thins it OK for spraying and cleaning brushes, but if left in the container without a lid on it turns to jelly in a couple of days.
