    Morning everyone!
Decided to sort the pond out yesterday beings its the time of year to do so.
Hovered the bottom out and flushed the filter tanks.
After events of last year left us a bit numb and wondering weather to fill it all in. We lost some 20 koi to a bad diesese. These fish were so tame we could sit and feed them out of our hands, it took years to get them to do that.
Anyway, here are a few pics i took last night of the 4000 gal pond that i would like to share with you all. Has anyone else got a pond? lets see some pics.

Some nice fish you got there. I had a natural pond built with a JCB in my field last year. 40ft long 30ft wide and 7ft deep all my koi are now in there. Worrying I know with no pumps no filters and only the growing plants to oxygenate the water, but they all seem to be doing fine. Some of my koi I have had for nearly 20yrs. I am hoping they will be ok after all they breed them in mud pools in Japan.
    Steve.

i got a net over the top of the pergola which hopefully when the roses have grown a bit more will virtually cover the top and give the pond some shade

You need my method a manaquin dressed up with a fishing rod in its hand. That keeps the heron away.
