I've bought a second set of spot lights that I want to use as auxiliary high beams, and switched as fog lights. Is this possible to have effectively two circuits connected?

I've been thinking about this on my way home, and now have a headache.

I can easily connect to the LHS to the headlight wire as I've done with the other side, but not sure how I would connect to say, the sidelight circuit and have this switched without causing an issue with any other circuit.

I'm sure this is easier than I think...Vince????

It should be possible to do the switching using relays with diodes in the feeds to keep the 2 circuits isolated, but why would you want to?
For a set of lights to be useful as aux high-beams they would only decrease your visibility if used in conditions of fog and conversely if they are properly configured to be useful as fog lamps they will decrease your distance vision if used with either low or high beam lighting.
To achieve an upgrade to both fog and high beam lighting you must use separate lamp sets for each, both designed for their respective purposes

Dont use spots as fogs. Fogs have very tightly controlled flat dispersion.

If they're the ones on your A-bar, they look like ProComp's. They're bigger than Microlines
