    After fitting a new engine, well secondhand one I found I had this part in the pic left over, do you think its important.
    If it aint broke dont fix it

            Thats whay I thought, got a bit of an exhaust blow from round the manifold don't know if its where this bits meant to fit.

              i ended up taking the handbrake cable housing off and disconnecting the cable from underneath to give me enough room to get a spanner in to undo/do up the nuts for that bloomin thing

                did you plate the hole over Gary and if so with what,cause if i ever need to take the pipe off again then i will leave it off

                              No just used the original gaskets, as the plates where so thick there was no distortion so they sealed perfectly
