Dubai - skiing and desert 4x4

over here in Dubaifor a couple weeks training with the company I have just joined,
was gutted to be away from Scotland in skiing season
but 5 mins walk from indoor Ski dubai!
so we went for a ski last night after work, good fun on jumps, and artifical snow pretty good, and slope longer and steeper than i expected

loads landcrusiers out here, havent seen a surf yet,
hope to go dune bashing in a cruiser at the weekend, but with a company that runs trips, so they will have drivers. and we cant drive them.... might go quad biking too on the trip, and belly dancers in evening!
one of lasses went on trip last weekend, and one of drivers rolled one the crusiers driving along side of a dune, trashed the windows etc

Aye, The dune rides are great fun - so I've been told.

Was up at the Linn of Dee at the weekend, still pelnty snow on the hills, not enough for skiing though
