new springs

My new rear spring came today so i will fit them on sat , but why did they paint them baby blue ?

Don't know but once there fitted and get some mud on them there the same colour as the rest of the truck
just a note after fitting mine the truck handling improved big time not so much roll on corners

and getting a 1 meter lenth of 3" ally pipe so it think i will have to make a snorkel as well

mine is now black over black , i just need to loose all the chrome and im sorted.
i think i will do it all black

stormy i like the black wheels ,
mine are split rims , polished (ish) rim and chromed center star with some ho chi min stuff wrote on them ( wind of power , plesure ride , grip the ground ) or some such rubbish. but matt black is nice

the rims were chrome but started to rust and i got bored one day and got the smooth hammerite out and then laquered them.They aint brilliant but they will do for the time but they go with the motor tho thats the main thing

Can you just paint hammerite straight onto chrome or do you have to dick around for ever preparing it? I might paint my bumpers.

i just went over the rims with some rough sandpaper and then slapped on the hammerite then laquered a couple of days after.I did put a couple of coats of hammerite on before the laquer and its been on there now since last summer with no signs of peeling or anything
