yea,chuffed as nuts.i had visions of a major strip down a rebuild,should of known better really.the tappets are normally hydraulic,but because the engine was lightened and balanced,it would rev higher.under these conditions hydraulic tappets make the valves bounce,so solid lifters and roller rockers were fitted.hence having to adjust them every now and then.
