  • What would you do???

    with a (hypothetical) £6000?
    1. Buy an Amazon V8.
    2. Buy a 3rd gen and 'toughen it up' with big tyres and suspension/body lifts.
    3. Lexus quad cam V8 conversion on your 2nd gen?

I'm a believer of the work with what you already have club, if it's usable, which yours is, seeing as it probably never sees any weather to rust in.

You been checking the diff then, 'cos I'm sure you can't actually mean you been driving it in the snow.

I would go for option one, the Amazon V8. I drove one of these and it is phenominal. I don't like the new ones though, bit like the 3rd generation Surf - gone soft!

I'd give it to tony and tell him to get a black 3 ltr, spend the change on toys for it, and phone me when its ready to pick up!
                        it's in me shed, mate.

2/ deffo, once we're done with the junk lying around ATM, the next project truck is gonna be a intercooled 3rd gen, de-plastic'ed with a solid front axle, and 35's.

So you didn't just lob a couple of snowballs at it and give it a quick spray with the hose?
