I spent 10 years running a section at a shooting club , R.C.O. for 8 years pistol and rifle coach .
taught over 50 members to shoot safely and gave it all up last year to just concentrate on farms and love it.
but i do miss 600 yrds at altcar

shame really, cos if i get a bow, i'll be using it as a backdrop....
we have a range in town where the muzzle loaders boys go.. I would like to go and do a bit there, but i think it will be a slippery slope..
Its good to see that there are some other shooters here.
I have a few rifles myself, ranging from the humble .22 through .308, .357, .45/70 to the hard hitting .375 H&H Magnum. I have several shotguns as well and recently bought a Benelli M1 Super 90 (8-shot FAC) semi auto shotgun which I’m really impressed with
I got hold of a 2nd hand beretta Al391 in november, non-FAC so 3 shot,
and multichoke, havent had much luck with the pigeons with it yet, as not many around,
so have been taking the .22 rimmy out more
