  • New rooflights

Well, the Ring lights arrived today, and they're now mounted on the lightbar. Needs painting black as it's a bit 'sore thumb' at the mo.

The old round lights made the truck look a bit tall and narrow, but these look better IMHO. Just need my relays and switch to arrive from t'interweb now and I can wire them up now the lighter nights are arriving.

You'll never manage to sneak through an area without anybody noticing, will you. Looks good. Would those be 50 or 70 Amp relays that you're waiting upon?

I bought a set from eBay - a set of 17 brand new automotive relays from 15A to 70A. I'm planning on using a 40A for the roof. They're 55w lamps. The 130w lamps on the front have a 20A on each, as they're fed directly from a battery each side, so keeping cable runs as short as possible for maximum oomph!

£9.99 for the 17, and includes 30 odd fuses. It was a full replacement set for a Mondeo or something.

                            Absolutely!

Had a few very nice jars of Jennings 'Snecklifter' in my local yesterday afternoon, following a wonderful home-cooked roast (thanks Vicki)

We are blessed in my area with a lot of good real ale pubs - as Andy Lovely Boyo is aware.
