just to ask has anyone had probs before with the dvla over the amount of digits and numbers in thier vin plate?

have recieved two letters recently stating i have not enough digits

have been in touch with dvla to explain my vehicle may only have thay many digits as is an import but fella writing to me says it makes no difference

This lot are idiots. They are a government department!
I had the same thing & just sent them a communication showing them their error. They reissued my log book with the amendment I told them about.

update: as of the postie arriving this morning, i now have a new log book with the amended ( by myself) information on it !

talk about banging ya head against a wall but at least they got it sorted
