... in the last 24 hours.
Must admit I'm sick of being behind the wheel so will be walking to work tomorrow.
Having said that, I felt sure the Surf would get me there and back, even when snow started blowing across the M6 up near Carlisle, and on range at Spadeadam.
I have noticed a certain 'roughness' about the drive this last week or so. Figure I've spent too much time up to the tops of the tyres in water this last month and need to grease my important little places, but as I've an appointment with Tony the Surf God next wednesday, I'm not too concerned.
This does make me wonder though... when I was into boats, we used a black sticky grease in the gearboxes of outdrives. This was waterproof and presumably had the same lube properties of the stuff we use in UJs, propshafts etc. Any reason we couldn't use this on our Surfs?
