odd parts interchangability...

Got some front pads for a Toyota Avensis today, from local Motaquip, and the label on the box says... Toyota 4Runner 98-on

That was it, not a mention of a bog standard UK family car, just a truck that was never seen in this country! They fitted just fine, and look nothing like 1st, 2nd or 3rd gen truck front pads.






Well I thought it was odd anyway!

Were they as thick as the surf pads?..and what about the callipers do you recon they are the same?
