It may be a slightly simplistic view but surely, if there aint enough prisons to keep the vilainous scum locked up, then the solution is .............................. .BUILD MORE PRISONS!!!!!!!

Keeps the construction industry busy too, and will give all the immagrant workers something to do!

you need to go back to the 70's (life on mars!!)... you get nicked for petty crime and get a kicking in the cells... go home and think twice about doing it again!

my mate got 4 years for saturday night fighting when he was 19...
how harsh is that??

they seem to get sentences mixed up... 6 months for murder and raping kids, 10 years for scrumping apples!!
